• Waterford city driving test routes covered comprehensively
• Pupils can be collected for their lessons at the Waterford Test Centre or a place of their convenience in the Waterford city area.
• The school provides pupils with a modern dual controlled car for lessons.
• The school car can also be rented to take the driving test.
• Pupils who wish to take driving lesson in their own car can be accommodated once their car is roadworthy and road legal but the driving school requires that beginner drivers take at least their first lesson in the school car.
• Pupils with their own Road Legal jeep and trailer can have category BE lessons in their own vehicles or hire the school’s jeep and or horsebox.
• Driving lessons are offered seven days per week from early morning until late evening.
• We boast an extremely high first time pass rate.

• The Full Essential Driver Training (EDT) course of 12 lessons (RSA approved)

  – Negotiating roundabouts correctly and safely

– Driving tuition for complete beginner drivers takes place in the safety of a car park. Here basic car control such as cockpit drill, pedal control and moving off/stopping is taught.

– We feel it is important for pupils to understand why they are being asked to drive in a certain way and will explain the reasons clearly.

– The structure of the EDT course is used to advance pupils but where a pupil is struggling with a certain aspect of the EDT program additional lessons can be organised if required.

– Plenty of practice in between lessons is not only strongly recommended but is essential to ensure a competent, confident and safe driver.
